Ines Temple
CEO and Country Manager
Ines Temple has been CEO and Country Manager of DBM Peru since 1993, and President of DBM Chile since 1996. She is Vice President of OWIT Peru, the Peruvian Chapter of the International Organization of Women in Trade. She is also Vice President of Peru 2021, a not-for profit organization working for a better Peru.
Ms. Temple is an ex-officio member of the board of the Peruvian American Chamber of Commerce – AMCHAM; is a member of the executive committee of the Alliance for a Drug-Free Peru; is a member of the board of Club Empresarial; is a member of the board of IPAE, Peruvian Institute of Business Administration and also a member of the board of Apoyo Comunicaciones S.A. She has been nominated as a member of the Jury of the Good Corporate Citizenship Award, for the third year in a row.
In the past Ms. Temple has been President of OWIT for 4 years. She has been the First and Second Vice President of AMCHAM, member of its board, founder of the AMCHAMHR Committee and its Vice President for 3 years.
Ms. Temple has been the Vice President of the Institute of Social Responsibility in Business IRSE. She was a member of the board of Peru 2021, and was the President of its first Corporate Social Responsibility Committee. She was the Vice President of OWIT Peru before becoming the President.
Ms. Temple has been a member of the CADE - Peruvian Annual Executive Conference organizing committee, for the second time in a row.
Ms. Temple was the President of the Jury for the Peruvian Entrepreneurial Creativity Award for three years and has been a member of the Jury for four. She was twice a member of the Jury for the National Women in Micro Business Entrepreneur Award, member of the Jury of the 2006 Effie Awards and also member of the Jury of the Ashoka Prize. She has been a member of the Private Sector Advisory Council for the Inter-American Development Bank in Peru; a member of the Council for Tourist Development of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism; a board member of the Metropolitan Cultural Patronage of the City of Lima and also of the Patronage of Lima. Speaker and panelist at universities, conventions, congresses and seminars in Peru and abroad, she is also a guest columnist at several local and international newspapers and magazines. More than 100 of her articles have been published to date. Ms Temple has a popular blog in El Comercio newspaper digital edition.
Ms. Temple holds a BS in Business Administration from the College of Business and Public Administration from the New York University– NYU in New York, USA. She graduated from the PAD - Program for Senior Managers from Universidad de Piura in Lima, Peru and has attended executive leadership courses at Harvard University, the Georgetown University (GLS) and the CEO Program at Kellogg School of Management.
Ms. Temple received the “Professional Excellence Award” from DBM and the “DBM Outstanding Service Award” in 2000 for leading the best DBM office in over 50 countries. She received the Universidad Ricardo Palma “Human Resources 2007 Award”.
